Andy is Senior Director, Institutional Markets. He is responsible for marketing all our investment strategies and helping us grow our assets across Canada by building strong relationships with institutional investors and consultants. He will also look at opportunities to develop our institutional business in international markets.

Prior to joining Van Berkom in 2022, Andy was Product Leader – Total Benefits Platform at iA Financial Group (2021-2022). He also worked as a Director at Optimum Financial Group (2019-2021). Before that role, he held positions as a Pension Consultant at Optimum Actuarial Consulting (2015-2019), and as an Actuarial Analyst – Pension Consulting at Mercer (2012-2015).

Andy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from HEC Montreal (2021). He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (F.S.A.) and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (F.C.I.A.) (2018).

Calvin started out as an engineer in the Petroleum industry, life events brought him back to the Asia’s World City.

With us since April 2023, Calvin brings along an eagerness to learn, ability to walk the talk, a self-declared marginal obsession with numbers, plus a touch of common sense, as parts of the tool kit that he developed to survive in the fast-paced, historic, flamboyant yet merciless metropolitan city at the tip of the Pearl River Delta.

20 years of experience in project management, equity trading, sales, client relationship management and risk management , an effective communicator (fluent in English, Mandarin & Cantonese), collaborator, and a straight shooter.
